It’s a bit early, but no harm starting to count down to my and your ORD. Personally, I find it easier to count down by the week.

This is more suitable for Staff Assistants, or NSFs that have their own computer at work.

It is a HTML file that you can put on your desktop, it uses a Java script, that is not written by me, to countdown to the date you set it.

It’s basically just a demonstration/concept/idea of how you can use that desktop space of yours.

You can customize the:

• background
• font
• days/minutes/seconds to ORD

It comes with a translucent background, (70%), which of course requires a fix for IE6. Thanks to TwinHelix

To use it:

1. Go to Display Properties
2. Desktop Tab > Customize Desktop
3. Web Tab > New
4. Locate and select the HTML file
5. Select OK and APPLY
6. Just resize and reposition it to your desired location
