I had a really great time working in the project. Let’s put the Data Verification aside.

I’m glad that I got 2 great team mates that I have no problem working with. It’s been a pleasure. Probably, it’s due to same situation, that is waiting for NS after poly graduation.

They would often come up with places that are quite far for lunch, and I would tag along. End up, we will be spending at least ten dollars for each lunch trip. That’s not how I would want my lunch to cost, but it’s kind of worthwhile. ‘Cos canteen’s food sucks.

And it seems like with the three of us, we kind of brought some life to the office. My first impression when I was there, the people in there are no life. There’s simply not much talking among damn, all they’re doing is looking into the screen, doing i-don’t-know-what. As we get to know the consultants, we use the power of talking cock, and inject some humour into the environment. It’s true!

Same goes for lunch, we would introduce them where are the better eating places. Heh, since they have cars! Or else, all they like to go for lunch, is the canteen!!!

Worst task of the job, is doing manual labour. After first 2 weeks of work, we got to shift the office from the main building to the CSB building. Loads of chair, computers t move around. Then it’s the ESS Road show. Lecturers in the day, coolies at night. Shifting and setting up notebooks from place to place, ensuring safety comformance of SCDF standards.

This few months felt like an internship. I learned the importance and usefulness of MS Excel. Get to conduct trainings for hundreds of NSFs. Get to meet different people from various divisions, get to explore my future home, HTA.

The latest data verifcation incident aside, I say I have enjoyed my last few months before going NS/
