Followed Zay’s guide All was good, I ran Mac OS X Tiger, as promised.

Problems:

• Ethernet not detected. No internet.
• PS/2 Keyboard not detected.
• Unable to access About this Mac. System restarts.
• No audio.
• No iPhoto.

The system wasn’t slow, pretty responsive. Start up time is also pretty fast, probably because I got nothing in the system. But without graphics drivers, I can see a little bit of slow down when the Widgets fades in and out.

The whole process would take less than 2 hours if you exclude getting the necessary software.

Shall read up more about it in the forums, and try a Leopard that supports SSE2.
